Technicians
Chandler Poche, Emilie Charbonnet, Anita Ernst Hotard, Hope Everhardt
Chandler Poche is Linda’s grandson and Dr. Ernst’s great-nephew. His presence here continues our commitment to family at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital. Chandler is attending college and spends as much time as possible with his dog Nyx, a German Shepherd. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Emilie Charbonnet started working at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital in 2012 when she was a junior at Ponchatoula High School. Emilie is a very hard worker and has advanced to a full-time veterinary technician. She is a proud mother of 2 and loves to keep our hospital clean and organized.
Anita Ernst Hotard is one of Dr. Ernst’s sisters and has been a surgery technician since Ponchatoula Animal Hospital opened in 1980. Anita is our “personnel manager” because she is always willing to lend an ear and she offers calm, practical advice for any of life’s glitches. She enjoys gardening and raising Monarch butterflies. Her greatest joys in life are her children and grandchildren.
Hope Everhardt has been a Kennel Technician since 2017. Hope is a mother, grandmother, and an extreme animal lover with 4 dogs and 2 cats of her own. She takes pride in having the cleanest kennels in Ponchatoula!
