Hospital Blood Donors
Rayne
Rayne has worked at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital since 2009! She donates blood for patients in need and really enjoys eating Cesar’s wet food after every blood draw. Rayne was found behind a dumpster at Bohning’s Supermarket in Ponchatoula when she was 6 weeks old. She enjoys frolicking in the yard with Hope. Like some of our patients, Rayne struggles with her weight due to everyone “loving” her a little too much!
Hope
In 2016, a Good Samaritan found Hope unconscious on the side of the road and brought her to Ponchatoula Animal Hospital for care. We suspect she had been hit by a car and remained hospitalized for several days. Her owner was never located so she became part of the Ponchatoula Animal Hospital family. Hope now spends her days as a companion for Rayne. She really enjoys running and stays trim and happy!
