Receptionists

Christina Ernst, Linda Landry, Lisa McCoy Routzahn, Mary Ernst Threeton, Judy Bourlet, Madelyn Scott, Rhonda Peterson

Christina Ernst continues our commitment to family and is a third generation Ernst working at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital. Christina is studying Health Education at Southeastern Louisiana University. She enjoys camping and other outdoor activities with her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Linda Landry is Dr. Ernst’s sister and has worked at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital since 1985 in many capacities from groomer to receptionist to surgery technician to our current Office Manager. In her time off, Linda enjoys reading and spending time with her grandchildren (one of whom also works at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital).

Lisa McCoy Routzahn has worked as a receptionist since 2012. With her outgoing personality, Lisa is our “official” patient greeter! She loves all the dogs (and cats) but especially those with smooshed faces like Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs.

Mary Ernst Threeton is a first cousin of Dr. Ernst and has worked as a receptionist since 2002. We rely on Mary’s remarkable memory for our clients’ faces and names. If you have ever purchased one of our homemade dog biscuits, you can thank Mary for baking these delicious treats! When she isn’t baking, Mary enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 9 grandchildren.

Judy Bourlet is another first cousin of Dr. Ernst, sister of Mary, and has worked as a receptionist since 2001. Judy doesn’t work much but will always greet you with a smile. She is an avid Saints fan, enjoys spending time with her grandkids, and LOVES coffee!

Madelyn Scott began working at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital in 2017 as a receptionist. Whether you are coming in or heading out, Madelyn is always eager to help a customer in need! Madelyn is partial to Bloodhounds and Rottweillers. She enjoys spending time with her family and taking her dogs (Gunner the Bloodhound mix and Rocky the Rottweiller) down the river while her cat Bandit stays home.

Rhonda Peterson started working as a Receptionist at Ponchatoula Animal Hospital in 2016. Rhonda is a wife, mother, and recently became a grandmother! She also has 2 dogs – Bear and Ziggy. Rhonda always greets each person with a smile when she helps you check out.

A family operated practice, Ponchatoula Animal Hospital welcomes you into a professional, yet warm and friendly atmosphere.
